Ms. Adrienne Barnes
A little about Ms. Barnes.... This is my third year teaching at Griffin Elementary. I am a Tyler native, where I not only grew up but I am also a proud product of Tyler Independent School District. I attended Mattie L. Jones, Stewart Middle School (Stewart-Edison Academy) and John Tyler High. After high school, I attended Tyler Junior College where I received my Associates of Arts degree, University of Texas at Arlington, and Amridge University where I received my Bachelors degree in Science with a focus on Human Development. In 2017, I completed my Master's degree in Education with specialization in Curriculuim and Instruction. I decided to return to LeTourneau University to purse a second Master's degree in Education Administration. My passion for teaching began at a very young age and blossomed thanks to the guidance of my school teachers throughout my primary school years. It is my belief that all children can and will reach their greatest potential when they are inspired, encouraged, and most of all loved.
