Ms. Crisp

Professional School Counselor,  Office #6

I love Waldo Emerson quote, "To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...this is to have succeeded!"  As a school counselor, my goal is to be the heart-beat of the school.  I love the children of Dixie Elementary and seek to support the social, emotional, behavioral and academic needs of our students each day.  Teaching the Pillars of Character, which are Respect, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Caring, Fairness and Citizenship is a daily occurrence.  Through classroom guidance lessons, daily announcements, small group guidance and individual counseling, I encourage, support and advocate for each student AND faculty member of Dixie.  I enjoy scheduling educational activities such as Red Ribbon Week, Career Activities and College days.

I do not have a specific conference time, so please call or email me to set up a meeting that is convenient for you.  I would love to meet you personally and learn how I can support you and your child.
