Welcome to the Culinary Arts webpage. I teach one section of Culinary Arts 1 and two sections Practicum of Culinary Arts. I have over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. I am a graduate of The State University of New York at Plattsburgh '90 and Paul Smiths College '01. This will be my sixth year teaching and I have been at the Career & Technology Center since it opened in the fall of 2015.
I am very excited about this year at the Career & Technology Center. We are offering Duel Credit in conjunction with TJC through our culinary classes. Students can earn college credit free of charge while still in high school.
We have an amazing facility that is a testament to this community's dedication to the education and job readiness of the children of Tyler, TX. We have a full commercial kitchen and Café that will be open to the public. This gives our students the proper environment to develop skills needed to work in the food service industry.
