Mr. Christopher A. Nauls, Assistant Principal

I love my job, love working with kids, I am passionate about helping all children learn and be the best possible person they can be. A product of Tyler I. S. D., I attended Griffin Elementary, Dogan Middle School and graduating from John Tyler High.  I am a graduate of Texas Southern University with a B. S. in Biology and a Masters in Administration from Texas A&M - Texarkana. I worked in the oil industry for 7 years befor joing the hallowed ranks of education.  This is my second tour working in Tyler I. S. D., previously working at Boulter as coach and science teacher, moving to Norman Oklahoma  working at Irving Middle school.  My family returned to Tyler where I  worked at A. T. Stewart Middle school until returning to Boulter in 2015- 2017. Very happy to be a Mustang for the first time this school year, looking forward to working with the students and staff of Moore MST Magnet.  I am married to Dorothy Jackson, we have 6 children all who are attending  or have attended Tyler I. S. D. schools.  I believe that our succes is tied to the team concept.  Together we can accomplish so much if we all extend ourselves outside our comfort zone.

Quote from Haim Ginott: "I have come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element.  It is my personal approach that creates the climate.  It is my daily mood that makes the weather.  I possess tremendous power to make life miserable or joyous.  I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration,  I can humilate or humor, hurt or heal.  In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or deesclataed, and a person is humanized or de-humanized.  If we treat people as they are, we make them worse.  If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming."
