Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Christopher Marsh
I am a math teacher at John Tyler and I am located in room C2. My Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Magna Cum Laude, with a minor in Secondary Education was obtained from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2014. I teach Pre AP Pre-Calculus 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th periods. I teach AP Statistics 1st period, and AP Calculus AB 6th period. My fellow mathematicians and I meet to plan our lessons during 3rd period each day. The best time to reach me by phone at extension 4553, and the time I usually try to reach parents, is during my 2nd period conference time from 9:07am - 9:57am. Alternatively, you can reach me by email at Christopher.Marsh@tylerisd.org. I offer tutorials regularly after school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I believe education is the key to each child's future and to building a better world for us all. To this end, I encourage my students to take their education personally; it is not something that happens to them, rather it is something that they are a part of and to which they can meaningfully contribute.
