My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to learn and think for themselves and to become productive, responsible citizens.  In my class, students learn computer skills that will prepare them for the workplace and/or college.  I also incorporate workplace ethics and citizenship so the students will build character as they learn the required curriculum for the class.  Ideally, I want students to be changed in a positive manner by their participation in class.

All lessons are related to current events or real world situations.  Consideration is given for a wide diversity of learning styles and student experiences.  While students must take responsibility for their own learning, I hope to instill a desire to learn.  Getting to know my students and listening to their experiences has helped me in making each lesson relevant to them.
