Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors of Science in Education k-8 ESL Gifted and Talented
I am so excited to be back at Ramey this year!
This will be my sixth year to teach Kindergarten. Respectively, I have taught third grade for three years and ESL 3-8 for two years.
I received my Bachelor's in Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I also served in the United States Airforce.
I have high expectations for my students and parents. I plan to use creative ideas to broaden your child’s mind, as well as, promote self-esteem, self-discipline, and character.
Our school theme is "Work for the Win!"
Kindergarten is a very important grade in your child’s education. It sets the foundation for the rest of their school career; therefore it is VERY important that your child is at school every day and on time. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 a.m. If they are late or absent, they are missing important instruction time.
Discipline at school and in the classroom is an integral part of the teaching/learning process. I will teach your child, along with your support, how to use appropriate behavior during instruction along with acquiring the desired behavior that will be modeled daily. I will help your child become more accountable for his/her own behavior choices.
You can support your child by coming to on-line Parent Conferences, Parent Meetings, Parent Nights, and field trips. This will show your child you are interested in what he/she is doing in school. Please sign up to be a volunteer.
It is important that your child is here every day on time at 7:50 am; but not any earlier than 7:00 am (Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 7:30 am) and be promptly picked up at 3:00 pm because there will be no one to watch your child. Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance at Ramey.
If you have any questions please give me a call or just email me.
Thanks for being a supportive and caring Ramey parent.
