Larry Goddard, CFRE
Executive Director

Larry Goddard has served as executive director of the Tyler ISD Foundation since April 2006.  Mr. Goddard received his B.S. in marketing and literature and M.S. in management and counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce.  He has previously been employed as community relations manager with Southwestern Bell Telephone and as associate vice president development/marketing and community relations for Texas A&M University-Commerce.  Goddard is a Chair of the state wide Education Foundation division for Texas State Public Relations Association (TSPRA), National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), National School Foundation Association (NSFA), Leadership Tyler (Class 20) and alumni relations committee, Sister City of Tyler, Inc. member, Tyler Museum of Art, Literacy Council, City of Tyler Industrial Development Board, Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC), A&M Commerce Alumni Board of Directors; Sigma Chi Fraternity Housing Board and a member of First Baptist Church in Tyler. In 2008, Goddard was named East Texas Regional Citizen of the Year by the East Texas Council of Governments.  He also has presented on the regional, state, and national levels of fundraising issues and won numerous awards for events, publications, and campaigns including the 2009 TSPRA Crystal Award for Best Event (among 1100 school districts).  He has been featured as “People of Our Community Who Make A Difference”.


Tracy Phelps

Tracy Phelps
is employed as director of development for the Foundation.
  She and her husband, Matt, a R.E. Lee and Texas A&M graduate, have two dogs, Darcy and Isabelle, and a baby girl due in February.  She too is a graduate of Texas A&M University (Whoop!) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in business administration.  She was active in Delta Delta Delta Women’s Fraternity and is active with the Tyler Tri Delta Alumna. Tracy is involved with Tyler Young Life as a leader.  Her hometown is Fort Worth, where she graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Forth Worth ISD.
