Katherine Wheat-Elmore holds a Bachelor degree in Education from East Texas Baptist University and a Masters in Mid-Management from the University of Texas at Tyler. In addition, Mrs. Elmore holds Texas Teaching certification. Since her employment with Tyler ISD in 1997, Mrs. Elmore has served as an English/Reading teacher at the alternative education campus, 9th Grade Success Initiative Coordinator for John Tyler High School, the teachers.edu Project Director and the Ellis Island summer school principal, 9th Grade Success Initiative Coordinator for the District/SAT Preparation Coordinator, the Lab-in-a-Bag Coordinator/Principal for the TARGET grant, and Assistant Principal for John Tyler High School. |
