What is the TARGET Grant?
First of all,
T.A.R.G.E.T. stands for Technology Applications Readiness Grant for
Empowering Texas, in case you were curious about it. This grant is
funded by T.E.A. with the purpose of increasing and improving
technology integration across the curriculum.
What is the Lab-in-a-Bag program?
The philosophy of
this project is to empower teachers with state-of-the-art technology
that fits in a bag! We want Math and Science teachers and students
to be able to carry field investigations equipped with handheld
devices that apply to real life scenarios. The result will be
technology-literate students, prepared for jobs that have not been
created yet. Want more info? Click here.
