Mrs. Garrett has been employed with TISD for 24 years. She has worked on many campuses: Robert E. Lee High School, Moore Middle School, Jim Plyler (Off-Campus Discipline Program) known as (OCD) and presently employed at Moore Magnet School as (In-School Suspension Aide).
Mrs. Garrett is married. Her family includes two daughters and five grandchildren. A native of Tyler. She attended Tyler Public Schools, Tyler Junior College and a graduate of Tyler Commercial College with a Business Administration degree.
She love working with children. Her hobbies are traveling, shopping, designing fashions and spectator sports. One of her favorite quota is: "Daily work takes on eternal value when it’s done for God."
