Pumpkin Decorating Contest
The time is HERE for the
Storybook Pumpkin contest! Students may enter a pumpkin decorated
(please do not carve the pumpkin) to represent a storybook character
from a children’s book, for example, Jack and the Beanstalk, Pecos Bill,
Little Red Riding Hood, and Goldilocks. There are many characters to
choose from, just use your imagination! (See slideshow below for
examples.)
All
entries will be due on Monday, October 26th by 3:00pm.
There will be no exceptions
regarding this deadline as volunteers and space are limited and needed
in order to set up the displays for viewing.
Judging
will take place October 27th-October 29th, winners will be
announced and pumpkins will go home Friday, October 30th.
There will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and
honorable mention.
