SAT/ACT Test Dates 2008-2009

TYLER ISD will pay for a student to take either
one ACT test or one SAT test.

**Exam Fee :  A check or money order made out to Tyler ISD (only) must accompany each exam registration as a deposit.  NO CASH will be accepted.

The student will be given the deposit back after the test has been completed, if they test at the TISD testing site.  If a student takes the ACT or SAT exam at a testing site other than TISD, they must bring a voucher from ACT or SAT or a copy of their results to the Director of Assessment Office in order to get their deposit back.

Students must register with their counselor (not online) in order to get reimbursed.  Registrations must be in the Director of Assessment Office (807 W. Glenwood) no later than 4:00 p.m. on deadline date to be processed.

*Home-schooled students wishing to take the College Placement or Advanced Placement test may contact the counseling department at the high school where they are eligible to enroll.  All fees for testing will be the responsibility of the home-schooled student.*

ACT optional writing test: If a student wishes to take the ACT optional writing test they must make out a separate check to ACT in the amount of $15.00 which will not be refunded.
