The ACT® test assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, math, reading, and science.  The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.

Financial aid begins with the free application for Federal Student Aid. All students are encouraged to file the FAFSA.

Use the Common Application to apply to approximately 300 selective colleges and universities.

All perspective student athletes must register with the eligibility center in grade 11. SAT and ACT scores must be sent directly from the testing agencies - use code "9999". Go to the NCAA website to register as a prospective student athlete.
NACAC is guiding the way for higher education. Use their website for student and parent resources.

To make an appointment: Contact Ms. Wade the counselors' secretary, by calling 262-2698 or coming by her office. Scheduling should be done before school, after school, or during lunch.  The counselor will then send for the student at the appointment time.
