Rules & Regulations

1.      Be on time when time is involved

2.      Respect all adults at all times

3.      Hustle at all times, on the court, off the court and to class

4.      Absolutely no use of profanity at any time

5.      Be a role model at all times, do the right things. Be a gentleman

6.      No use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco. School rules apply, if you are suspended from academics you are from athletics

7.      Anyone arrested on a felony charge is suspended pending the outcome of the case. Anyone arrested on a misdemeanor charge (i.e. drugs or alcohol) will be suspended pending the outcome of the trial. If you are arrested you must make the coaches aware of the arrest.

8.      If you are ill and unable to come to practice you must phone prior to the workout beginning. (903) 262 – 2682 or (903) 262 – 2831 Missing workout will not be tolerated.

9.      Show of anger or unsportsmanlike conduct is not tolerated and shows nothing but weakness.

10.  You are responsible for equipment issued to you. Reimbursement for lost/damaged items is your responsibility.

11.  Wear gear issued, added equipment is by the training staff or coach only

12.  No earrings in athletics, athletic facility or games

13.  Your hair should be in compliance with school policy. You cannot wear it in a manner that brings individual attention to yourself. No lines, designs, numbers or initials in hair.

14.  Suspension from school for any reason will result in suspension from the team and possibly total removal from the program

15.  Citizenship in all classes must be satisfactory

16.  A decision of suspension or dismissal  by the head coach is final

I understand being a part of the Red Raider Basketball program is an honor that I have volunteered for. I have read and understand the above stated rules and regulations. I am willing to comply with each. I am also willing to face any consequence that my actions bring on myself and my athletic future in this program.
