Alan Johnston

Coach Johnston is a graduate of Nacogdoches High School, Tyler Junior College and St. Mary's University.  He coached one year at St. Mary's University with a team earning a trip to the national tournament.  He is now in his 6th year at REL.  He coached 20 years at Chapel Hill High school, five all-star teams and coached an American National Team in China during the summer is 2002, 2004, and 2006.  He has been married to Leann Gibson for 21 years and is blessed with two children, Rachel 15 and Caleb 14.  He is an active member of Green Acres Baptist Church and enjoys travel, hunting, fishing and anything his children are involved in.

Danny Russell

Coach Russell is a graduate of Central Heights High School where he led his team to the state tournament and 30 wins.  In high school he was named all state, all region and to the all-state tournament team.  He played at Jacksonville Baptist College where he won the 6th Man award and was named to the Region IX Quarterfinal team.  He also played for Danny Kasper at Stephen F. Austin University where he competed in two NCAA conference tournament finals.  Coach Russell is in his 6th year at REL.  He is married to Sarah Russell.  He is a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoys exercising and doing yard work in his spare time.

Antwon Lounds

Coach Lounds is a graduate Tri-Cities High School in Atlanta, GA.  In high school he was Defensive Player of the Year. Received his Associate Degree at Lurleen B. Wallace Jr. College in Andalusia, AL., where he accomplished to the All State Tournament team and led the team in scoring and steals.  He finished his collegiate career at Texas College, where he lead the team to a 20 win season.  He led the conference in assists (7th nationally) and received votes for all-conference honorable mention.  Coach Lounds spent one year coaching the Texas College Junior Varsity team.  He received his degree in Mathematics. Coach Lounds is in 3rd year at REL and his 1st year coaching.  He has a darling 4 year old brother name Gabriel. Coach Lounds enjoys playing basketball and teaching today's youth mathematics. 

Willie Williams

Coach Williams is a graduate of Austin College and earned his Masters degree from Tarleton State University.  He played football and basketball in college.  Coach Williams has nine years of head basketball coaching experience and nine years of college football coaching experience and has coached for a total of over 30 years.  He is married to Cindy, has a daughter, Jordan 19, and a son, Camden 18.

Jeff Miller

Coach Miller attended University of Texas at Austin.  He has 9 years of coaching experience.  He coached 2 years at Parodes Middle School where he was the Head Football and Basketball coach.  While at Atkins High School for one year, he was Freshman Football Coordinator and Freshman Basketball Coach.  He coached three years at Rusk High School where he was Head Boys Basketball coach as well as the Varsity Defensive Back Football coach.  He is currently with the Raiders as the Boys Freshman Football and Freshman Basketball coach.  He also teaches Health and P.E. at Robert E. Lee.  Coach Miller is married to Lara Miller.  They have a daughter Morgan.
