The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) replaced the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) starting in the 2011-2012 school year. STAAR includes more difficult testing and requires a higher level of student performance. STAAR is designed to measure a students college and career readiness, starting in elementary school.

The information below includes a guide for parents to help understand your child's test results. To log in and view your child's assessment results online,enterthe six-character Unique Access Code and the student'sDate of Birth. The Unique Access Code is a combination of numbers and capital letters. The access code is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as it appears on the most recent Confidential Student Report. For more information about your assessment results or if you do not havea Unique Access Code, contact your child's school.
