On April 14, 2008, Sgt. Brian Arceneaux returned from duty in Iraq and made his first stop at W. A. Peete Elementary School to visit his two sons,  D'Andre a second grade student and Jamar a kindergarten student. It was an emotional reunion for both father and sons as they embraced each other with tears of joy. Sgt. Arceneaux has served in Iraq for the past eight months and is a proud product of the Tyler Independent School District.
