Gradebook FAQ |
|
1. How do
you change an Incomplete so the gradebook will
recalculate? |
|
Go to View/Six
Weeks. Click on the Incomplete you want to change.
Edit/Clear/Current Assignment. It will ask if you want to
clear the assignment and recalculate. Answer Yes. |
| 2. If I
did an overwrite on a grade for the progress report, when I
add more grades, will it recalculate and change the
overwrite? |
Yes, if you follow the steps in #1
|
| 3.
Why didn’t
my student’s grades over 100 show up in the Pinnacle upload? |
| Grades over 100 will not upload.
Wait until just before the upload of the gradebook and
overwrite any average over 100. Change it to 100. |
| 4. I
want to use the Category Wizard but it is not available as
an option. How can I access it? |
| Category Wizard is not available
because Easy Mode is selected. Go to Options and
uncheck Easy Mode by clicking on it once, or deselecting it. |
| 5. Why
did my grade change not show on the student's report card? |
| If your grade changes didn't
upload, or show on the student's report card, you probably
changed the grade in Pinnacle after the Upload. You
will have to go to the office and get a grade change sheet
now to make the change on a Grade Change Sheet. You do
have a chance to verify grades before the upload in
ProWeb too. |
| 6. How
do I alphabetize my students' names in my gradebook? |
| Open the class and click the A2
button at the top of the page. |
| 7. Will you set up my web gradebook password? |
| Your web gradebook password is
the same by default as your Pinnacle gradebook password.
If you want to change it, go in to your gradebook and follow
these links:
PINNACLE/Change WGBA Password. You'll notice that
you can change your Pinnacle password there too! |
| 8. How can I change the name of my gradebooks, each classes gradebook? |
| Go to File/Set Class Title.
Please leave the prefix such as A1-Fall 05 then add your
class name. |
