The Special Education program at Peete Elementary is primarily for students who have learning disabilities that have caused them to fall behind in the regular classroom. Students that are served in resource are taught Reading, Language Arts and Mathematics at their particular level, in a smaller setting and at a slower pace. The goal for any student that receives Special Education instruction at Peete is for any gaps in their learning to be filled and to eventually be on grade level so that all of their instruction can be received in the regular classroom. |

El programa de educación especial en Peete esta diseñado principalmente para estudiantes con dificultades que les ocasiones ir por debajo del nivel de su clase. A los estudiantes que participan en este programa, se les enseña lectura, escritura y matemáticas adaptadas a su nivel. El aprendizaje tiene lugar en pequeños grupos y a un ritmo más lento. La meta del programa de educación especial en Peete es que cada estudiante consiga aprender lo suficiente como para ponerse al nivel del resto de la clase. |
