^{RECOMMENDED CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATION SCHEDULE} State law requires all children attending public school to maintain updated shot records, below is the recommended schedule.

The Special Senses and Communication Disorders Act, Chapter 36 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, requires that all children enrolled for the first time in any public, private, parochial, or denominational school or in a Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services licensed child-care facility in Texas, or who meet certain grade criteria must be screened or have a professional examination for possible vision and hearing problems.

4 year olds

Any other first-time entrants (4 yrs - 12^{th grade)}

VARICELLA:   12 MONTHS * 18 MONTHS * 11 - 12 YEARS

HEPATITIS A: 24 MONTHS * 12 YEARS
