Visiting the Bell Café:

• I want to have lunch with my child. What should I know?
  Make sure you know when your child's class goes to lunch.  Check with your child's homeroom teacher or call the office to verify the time.
  
  Please enter through the office and bring an ID every time you visit.  The office personnel are required to check your ID even if you are known to them personally.
   

• May my child invite a friend to have lunch with him/her?
  Your child may invite one friend.  If the friend is in another class please be aware of that child's lunch schedule.
  
  If you bring lunch for your child you may also bring lunch for the friend if you have approval from his/her parent.  This is to avoid problems with food allergies or other dietary issues.
   

• Where can we eat?
  We have four small visitors' tables located in front of the stage in the café.  The  monitors will be glad to assist you.
   
  You may also choose to have your lunch in our outdoor learning area (courtyard).  This is a very pleasant and peaceful environment in which to enjoy your meal.  
  If you choose to dine outside please inform your child's teacher or a café monitor so that you may be located if necessary. 

• It's my child's birthday and I would like to bring treats to share with his/her classmates.  Can I serve them in the café?
  Due to requirements of the Federal School Lunch Program we are unable to share such treats in the café.  Please contact your child's teacher in advance to see if you can arrange a time and place to share the treats. 
   

          Please be aware that we are unable to admit visitors on TAKS testing days.
