DRESS CODE
2008-2009
All clothing is to be appropriately sized for the student. Baggy
and oversized clothing will not be allowed.
Shirts (Polo Style):
Colors: Black, true gold (no yellow), and white
Material: cotton, cotton/polyester blend, cotton knit
Solid, no stripes, designs or logos
Short or long sleeved, no sleeveless, no ties or strings on sleeves
Undershirt/T-Shirt:
Black, true gold or white only
Additional Outerwear:
(sweatshirts, sweaters)
Black, true gold or white
Must have uniform shirt on underneath
Bottom Garment:
Khaki and black only
Material: cotton, cotton/polyester blend, twill or wool
Pants must be worn at the waist and must be hemmed
Capri,
crop or flood pants, skirts and shorts are acceptable
Skirts or shorts may not be shorter than 3” above the knee
No splits in skirts more than 3” above the knee
Shoes/Socks:
Sneakers and Tennis Shoes (shoe strings must be same color as shoes)
No red or blue shoes
No flip-flops, house slippers, sandals, or backless shoes
Black or white socks must be worn with shoes at all times
Belts:
Must be worn at all times, threaded through belt loops and visible.
Black, brown or khaki in color, no decorative colors or accents
Jewelry/Accessories:
Earrings may not exceed the diameter of a half-dollar in size; only one
necklace or bracelet to be worn at a time. Any article of clothing,
jewelry, body decoration, or hairstyle extreme enough to create a
distraction or disturbance during the normal school day shall be deemed
inappropriate.
