Personal attention from a volunteer.
|
We are privileged to have Olga working as the APE assistant this year. She brings expertise after having worked in the field of Occupational Therapy in Argentina. It is her delight to work with our students as they learn through movement experiences. |
Students work on their IEP goals during their Adapted PE classes. Both individual and group activities are designed to meet students' individual needs. While motor skills are a priority, daily activities also include opportunities to practice communication skills. The yearlong curriculum integrates seasonal sports including basketball, football, and baseball. Volunteers from the community and special events enrich the students' experiences.
