GUIDELINES FOR YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY
Morning Drop Off: To drop students off in the morning, please pull into the circle drive on Carriage, using both lanes. Do not change lanes. Students must remain in their cars until parents drive past the flagpole, and must exit onto the sidewalks where school personnel are ready to assist. Please pull all the way down. Do not drop off on Carriage, in the teacher parking lot or bus lane.
Afternoon Pick Up: Car riders will be picked up from the supervised sidewalk area past the flagpole. Please pull all the way down. Parents should have a sign with their child’s name and grade in their front window. Do not remove the sign until your child is in the car. Walkers, bus and daycare van riders will be escorted to their designated areas. Please do not pick up in the teacher parking lot or bus lane.
Arriving at school past 8:00AM and leaving school before 2:45PM will affect your child’s attendance. Please be sure your child is on time in the morning and stays for the entire instructional day.
AT ALL TIMES!
Watch out for Children! When approaching the intersection of Carriage and Briar Cove, the most important thing is the safety of our children. When drivers pull into the intersection before enough space is available on Carriage, the crosswalk is often blocked. This forces children crossing the street to walk outside the safety lines of the crosswalk.
