Melissa Lee - Head Coach   District 12 5A Co-Coach of the Year 2006
Coach Lee, an REL graduate, returns after a highly successful run as the head volleyball coach at Texarkana Pleasant Grove High School for 12 years.  Highlights of her accomplishments at Pleasant Grove include:
1998-2004:  District Volleyball Coach of the Year.
2003:  Selected as Coach of the Texas Girls Coaches Association All Star Team.
2000-2004:  Selected as Area Volleyball Coach of the Year.  Coach Lee holds a BSE from Quachita Baptist University.  She has coached 6 All-State and 52 All District players in the past 10 years.  She coached volleyball teams that qualified for post-season play each year since 1995, including a 98 game District winning streak.  Her teams also qualified for the Texas State Volleyball Tournament 4 times in the last 6 years.

Kim Partain 2000:  Graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University - four year scholarship athlete and member of the Track and Field team specializing in hurdles, javelin, and heptathlon
2003:  Volleyball, Basketball, and Track Coach at Stafford M.S.D.
2004:  Freshman Volleyball and Assistant Track Coach

I moved to Tyler to be closer to family and friends, and I spend most of my free time riding and training barrel horses, and attending rodeos or barrel races on weekends.

Karol Smith

1997:  Graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Kinesiology and Health
1998-2000:  Attended Graduate School at Texas Christian University, and earned an additional certification in Adapted Physical Education
2001-2004:  Freshman Volleyball and Junior Varsity Softball
2004:  Junior Varsity Volleyball and Junior Varsity Softball

Holly Griffin

1996-1998:  Attended and played basketball for LeTourneau University
1998-2000:  Attended and graduated from Lamar University with a B.A. in English
2000-2003:  Junior Varsity Volleyball and Junior Varsity Basketball at Vidor High School
2003:  Freshman Volleyball and Freshman Basketball
2004:  Freshman Volleyball and Junior Varsity Basketball

I am married to Cory, and we have an adorable two-year old son, Bryce.
