Basketball Skills Workout #2


1. Ball Handling Drills:
a. Follow the Lines- Dribble on the side lines, baselines,
center lines, 3 point circle, foul lane lines, or any other
line. Perform crossovers, through the legs, around the back,
spin, back up dribble, low dribbles, and any other form of
dribble around the lines for 10 minutes non stop.
b. Wall Dribbles- Get close to a wall with the right hand
dribbling 50 x's then the left dribbling 50 x's off the wall. Use
finger tip control and speed. Perform this 2 x's on each side.

2. Offensive Moves:
a. Jab step series from the top of the key or the wings or the
corners- 5x's with each leg and each jab step move.
i. Jab and drive
ii. Jab and shoot
iii. Jab and crossover
iv. Jab, fake shot, and drive

3. 20 Foul Shots

4. Speed/Endurance Drills:
a. Baseline to half court acceleration sprints- Perform 5 x's.
b. Baseline to ¾ court acceleration sprints- Perform 5 x's.
c. Baseline to same side foul line- perform 5 x's.

This is a quick intense basketball workout that will improve your skills and speed. Make sure technique and balance is good on the jab step series.
