Fill out application for federal aid

Do not let the word "essay" keep you from applying for scholarships! Write down your ideas as to what your hopes and dreams are for the future and why someone should invest money in your college education. Think about the essay as the best persuasive paper you have ever written--let your personality shine through and then save your ideas on your computer. When a scholarship comes up and it is one that you qualify for, if it requires an essay you will have a wonderful starting point. Start writing!

Also visit  www.apstrategies.org for the latest scholarship information. Click on "Resources For Students" and there will be a link for scholarships. AP Strategies will update the list weekly!
