Plyler Alternative School Hours

Elementary School:                                                

8:00A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Students should arrive no earlier than 8:00 and no later than 8:10.

Students should be picked up no later than 3:15.

 Middle School:

 8:40 A.M. to 3:40 P.M.

Students should arrive no earlier than 8:10 and no later than 8:30.

Students should be picked up no later than 3:55.

High School: 

8:30 A.M. to 4:00

Students should arrive no earlier than 8:20 and no later than 8:40.

Students should be picked up no later than 4:15.

The cafeteria will stop serving breakfast at 8:55.

• Parents must accompany students into the building and sign in the student each day.  There is no bus transportation.

• At the end of the day, parents must report to Plyler at the appropriate time to pick up their student. Plyler personnel will be on the walkway to assist in this process.  Upon arrival, parents will provide the name of the student, and the staff member on duty will radio the office and the student will be released.
• If a student needs to be released early, parents must come to the office to sign their student out for the day. 
• Students that arrive early will be placed in a holding class until the school day begins.  These students will lose one point from their point total for the day.
• Students that do not leave the school campus by the appointed time will lose one point from their point total for the day.
