
Student Dress Code
Shirts:
Middle school students will wear white polo shirts.
High school students will wear white polo shirts.
White long sleeved shirts may be worn under polo shirts for extra warmth (only one).
All shirts are to be tucked in at the true waist and a belt must be worn.
Pants:
Middle school students will wear khaki pants.
High school students will wear black or navy pants or blue jeans.
High school students must wear plain pants with no decorative writing or symbols.
All pants/jeans must be ankle length, cuffs are not allowed.
Pants must be worn at the true waist. NO SAGGING. Belts must be visible.
No shorts, such as athletic type or shorts which have pockets, will be worn underneath pants.
Shoes:
Shoes must be worn and be closed toe.
Shoes should be either black or white in color and laces must match the shoes in color and tied.
Colored logos or accents on shoes will not be allowed. Black or white only.
No house shoes, flip-flops, sandals, or beach shoes allowed.
Other:
No jewelry of any kind is to be worn at school. Including tongue rings.
No grills are to be worn.
No spacers for body piercings.
Tattoos must be covered.
No outerwear ( jackets, hoodies, or coats) will be worn
No colored hair (red, blue, green, etc.)
No symbols, numbers, words or slogans cut in hair.
No hair ornaments ( barrettes, colored hair bands or bobbie pins).
No hats, caps, do-rags, or any other form of head coverings.
Smoking and tobacco products are prohibited.
Valuables
No purses, wallets, money, backpacks, brushes, combs, cell phones, IPods, or other electronic devices, or any other valuables should be brought to Plyler
Valuables should be left at home or given to the parents at sign in. Valuables confiscated during the school day will be returned to the parent at the principal's discretion.
