Curriculum Component

Plyler High School and Middle Curriculum
TISD has developed custom built PLATO learning pathways for the students at Plyler. Therefore, students will be working on the same topics as the students on their home campus.
Middle and High Schools students are assigned PLATO software in the core subject areas of English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.
Students are also responsible for teacher assigned off-line work in coordination with the PLATO software.
A Plyler student’s grade is derived from a combination of Plato on and off line assignments. On-line assignments make up sixty percent of the students average and the remaining forty percent comes from teacher assigned off-line work.
High school students enrolled in pre AP or AP classes on their home campus can receive additional assignments from their teacher. These assignments must be completed in addition to their Plato assignments.
