For many students, Kindergarten is their first educational experience. 

We at Peete hope to make this first experience a great one! Kindergarten uses such programs as Spalding Phonics, Balanced Literacy, and C-Scope to give students a solid foundation of skills on which to build throughout their elementary years. 

Kindergarten is fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Mrs. Janet Smith, our campus' Literacy Facilitator, Ms. LaShun McGill and Mrs. Pilar Renia-Moreno, our Opening Doors teachers. 

Social Studies is implemented throughout the curriculum, and we learn how to be good citizens and friends. 

Kindergarten is a special time, and we strive to do whatever it takes to make each child successful.
