Mr. James Pollard
Assistant Principal

Welcome to Moore MST Magnet School.  I am an assistant principal responsible for students whose last names begin with the letters M through Z.  I came to Moore during the 1997 school year.  Prior to my career in teaching I was a Special Forces Officer in the U.S. Army.  I have been in charge of organizations of various sizes and configurations and I have a number of military awards and badges.  I am a certified government/social studies teacher.  I also have an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement and I have a mid management certificate as well..

For those Texas fans I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree from Texas A&M.  I enjoy playing golf and reading. I honestly believe that the pursuit of education never ends, and two languages are always better than one.
