Make-up Work Policy:

All work is to be done in class.  If a student is absent, they make it up the next class period.  If a student knows in advance that he will be out, he may check with the teacher to do the work ahead of time.

Tutorial:

I am is in the classroom every morning except Wednesday.  I have a faculty meeting every Wednesday. Please come in and sign in the red notebook.  Then let me know how I can assist you.

Classroom Management Policy:

The students are to enter the classroom and stand quietly beside their desk until asked to be seated  then immediately start writing the assignment in their agenda. They are to go right to work on the warm-up that will be on the overhead.  Students are expected to remain seated at all times, unless they ask permission to get up.  Demerits are given for being out of your seat and for talking. Students are not dismissed by the bell. The teacher will dismiss the students.

 

Supplies: Students must have pens, pencils, paper, and a library book at all times.

 

Grading Policy:

AR Points are 30% the grade the test over the book is 20 % Students must have 21 points at the end of the six weeks.  It is a good idea to have 10 points at progress time.  The other half the grade comes from skills.
