Dear New Friends,

Welcome to Jack Elementary! It is our goal to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and your child.  If you should ever have questions, please feel free to contact us.  We strongly believe that good communication and working together as a home/school team is the key to a successful experience for your child at school.  We do have high expectations for our students because our students deserve the best.  I encourage you to arrange a conference with your child’s teacher to discuss strengths, concerns, or other questions you may have involving the academic progress of your child.  I also encourage you to become active in school happenings.  You will receive a monthly calendar this year showing you all of the things going on.  Our PTA would love to have you join them.  We are always looking for new volunteers.  This is a great way to get quickly involved in your new school.  We can help connect you with the appropriate person.  We have multiple opportunities regardless of the amount of time you may have.  Do not feel like you have to have lots of free time on your hands!  We work with you.  Attached you will find basic campus policies and procedures.  Please review them with your child, sign it, and return to school tomorrow.  We look forward to getting to know you and your child at Jack!
