Construction Projects
 

The Hubbard Industrial Tech students are working on several exciting projects…

We are building wooden lamps and shades.  Students are learning how to build and wire up a lamp from scratch.

We are also working on a wonderful project in Construction Technology.
Students are designing and building wooden quilts or also known as barn quilts.
 In the 1800’s, when a family had a barn raising, the women would take the scraps from
the barn wood and create a wooden quilt block to hang on the side of the barn.
  They are well known all through Tennessee and  Kentucky.
A lot of them are still visible today.

6th grader are building popsicle stick towers to be tested this week.

7th graders are building Styrofoam airplanes.
