As you read, you must complete the assigned task for the required reading books. These task can be found on the links above or in the student handbook.

One book is required at the 6th grade level and two books are required at the 7th and 8th grade level. We recommend that students select two other books from the EXTRA list to read during the summer for fun. |

Each student is expected to clock in a specific number of community action and service hours each school year. These hours must be volunteer hours in the community. Money can not be collected for services. Service hours may be collected over the summer and during the current school year.
To submit service hours students must fill out a community action and service hours sheet. The sheet must be signed by an adult supervisor. Completed sheets need to be turned into Mrs. McHam on or before May 1, 2008.
