Mr. Young

  I began my teaching career in 1996 with the Dallas Independent School District.  I came to Douglas Elementary in 2003 and have enjoyed teaching music to grades K-5^th.  Students continue to amaze me with their ability to perform at high levels, after being fully committed to doing their best.  I like to encourage students to explore the world of music with “open eyes, ears, and minds”.  My great joys have come from seeing the smiles on a face after performing.
