Mr. Morrow's Second Grade Gardeners Plant Chrysanthemums in Preparation for Celebration Clarkston Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence Former alumni along with current students and staff celebrated the 50 year anniversary of Clarkston Elementary. Guests enjoyed viewing a giant timeline in the cafeteria, a slideshow, "Through the Years", student entertainment, and special guests including former 1959 first grade teacher, Mrs. Plyler, the granddaughter of H.H. Clarkston, and the son of first principal, John Cox. Special thanks to all those who helped to make this celebration a success.
Fifth Grader Organizes Canned Food Drive For PATH!
Clarkston Fifth Grader is Surrounded by Students from Mrs. Bennie's Third Grade Class Morgan, a Clarkston fifth grader and girl scout, recently organized a canned food drive for PATH. Clarkston students collected more than 160 canned food items for her project. Thank you, Morgan, for inspiring students to care about those in need.
