TISD Hires Boulter Principal
Tyler Independent School District Board of Trustees has approved and named Janice Houze, an East Texas educator with 20 years of experience, as the new principal of Boulter Middle School.  Houze is currently an Assistant Principal at Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler ISD. READ MORE

TISD Hires Deputy Superintendent

Tyler Independent School District Board of Trustees has approved and named Cecil McDaniel to the key post of Deputy Superintendent of Operations.   In this position, he will be responsible for the oversight of non curriculum areas, including communications, facilities, human resources, and technology. Jack Elementary Receives Funds for Playground
Bryan C. Jack Elementary will soon open its doors to students for the first time.  The school is also planning and preparing to purchase a new playground to go along with the new campus and a local company is doing its part to contribute to the playground project. READ MORE
