Physical Therapist – District – Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, or related program. Valid Texas license as a physical therapist granted by the  Physical Therapy Examiners. One year of experience as a physical therapist. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Administrative/Professional Paygrade 4; $46,672-58,341; 204 days Wage/Hour Status; Exempt. Applications accepted until position is filled. 

Occupational Therapist – District – Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. Valid Texas license as an occupational therapist. One year of experience as an occupational therapist. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Administrative/Professional Paygrade 4; $47,085-58,857; 204 days Wage/Hour Status; Exempt. Career & Technology Education Coordinator – District – Requirements: Master’s Degree;  Texas Mid-management preferred; valid Texas teaching certificate and at least five years successful experience as a vocational classroom teacher.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate.  Administrative/Professional Paygrade 5, 226 days Wage/Hour Status: Exempt Applications accepted until filled.
 
Middle School Principal – Boulter –
Requirements: Master’s Degree or higher, with a major in education administration. At least five years successful classroom teaching experience. Texas Principal certificate or other appropriate Texas certificate; PDAS appraiser preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable. Administrative/Professional; Pay grade 7, $65,065-81,333; 226 days Wage/hour status: Exempt.

Systems Analyst – District –
Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree required.  At least 5 years successful computer related services. Knowledge of data base design, data base management, web application design, SQL, and other computer applications.  At least 5 years experience in school district administrative support. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable.  Administrative/Professional Paygrade 2;  $44,721-55,901; 226 days Wage/Hour Status: Exempt. Assistant System Engineer – District –
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field. Training in the use, installation, and maintenance of network systems. Specialized technology training on application software. One year experience in working with computer networks, including multiple technologies, Windows and Macintosh platforms, and different network topologies. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Administrative/Professional Pay Grade 1, $37,268-46,585, 226 days Wage/Hour Status: Exempt.

Requirements: Master’s degree.  Texas school counselor’s certificate, three years of teaching experience.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate.  Administrative/Professional Pay Grade 2, 187 days Wage/Hour. $37,004-46,254. Records and Scheduling Officer – Lee – Requirements: Master’s Degree.  Texas teacher certificate, counselor’s certificate.  At least three years successful experience as a classroom teacher.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Instructional Technology Trainer  – Administration –
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with graduate work preferred; teaching certificate; CIS certification, IPT endorsement, or specialized technology training preferred; three years teaching experience; computer proficiency; working knowledge of LAN/WAG technologies preferred; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate.  Administrative/Professional Pay Grade 2 salary range $40,368-50,459; 204 days. Middle School Counselor -  Boulter  –
Requirements: Master’s degree,  Texas school counselor’s certificate, three years of teaching experience.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate.  Administrative/Professional Pay Grade 3, $43,596-54,497; 204 days Wage/Hour Status: Exempt.  Applications accepted until position is filled.

Reading Recovery Teacher/Leader – District –
Requirements: Master’s degree in Reading. Complete all requirements for Reading RecoveryŽ Teacher Leader training. Valid Texas teaching certificate and at least five years successful experience as Reading RecoveryŽ Teacher. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate. Administrative/Professional Pay Grade 4,
$45,470-56,837; 197 days Wage/Hour Status: Exempt.

NOTE: The “No Child Left Behind Law” says that any aide (assistant) who holds a position in a Title I school must hold an Associate Degree or pass a rigorous assessment test to be administered by the District. It also states that aides (assistants) hired after January 8, 2002 must meet these requirements. The District plans to meet this requirement through the Paraprofessional Institute which will be held on various dates at the Region VII Service Center in Kilgore, Texas. Paraprofessionals recommended, who do not have the necessary requirements, will be required to attend the Institute.
