Dyslexia Program
 

Dyslexic students in the Tyler Independent School District are served in one of three ways depending on the severity of their dyslexia. Some are served in the regular classroom with a few modifications. A few are served in Special Education. The majority are served through the MTA (Multisensory Teaching Approach) Dyslexia Program. This is a pull-out, regular education program which lasts for an average of three academic years.
