2004 Bond Board Update

·        A & E Consultants

A.     The design teams met with the Campus Design Leadership Teams at each campus to go over interior color recommendations and landscape designs that will be unique to each campus.  Each campus voted and selected a preferred color range.  Both Design Teams will be presenting final color boards to each campus in September.

B.     Both design teams have completed the Building Packages at Ramey, Bell and Rice/Owens Relief Campus.  The scopes of these packages include landscaping, irrigation, foundation, masonry, structural steel fabrication and erection, woodwork, roofing and sheet metal, aluminum entry system and windows, plaster, drywall, ceramic tile, acoustic ceiling, resilient tile and carpet, paint and sealants, plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical, Fire Sprinkler, Electrical, and Special Systems.

C.     Both design teams will be providing Construction Administration services throughout the project duration.

·            Technology

a.       TSC has completed the coordination the technology design documents with TISD and the MEP consultants and Architects.  The technology consultant has completed work on the design documents and will be included in the final construction documents.

C.                 Rice/Owens Relief Campus – awaiting Department of Justice approval to begin civil package.
