A. EHRC Architects are providing Construction Administration
services throughout the project duration for Douglas/Peete.
B. Fitzpatrick Butler/PBK, Architects (FB/PBK) are providing Construction Administration services throughout the project duration for Austin/Bonner.
· Construction Projects
A. Douglas Elementary School-New Construction
a. Work Completed
All structural steel erection at colonnade is 90% complete.
All drywall, plumbing & electrical rough-ins, duct work main runs, fire sprinkler mains and ceramic wall tile are complete in the two story wing and one story classroom wing. The porcelain floor tile is approximately 25% complete. Painting is approximately 70% complete in the two story and one story classroom wings.
Brick work is approximately 80% complete. Roofing is approximately 80% complete. Millwork is approximately 70% complete.
b. Work in Progress
Structural steel erection continues at the colonnade. Drywall framing, HVAC duct work, plumbing & electrical rough-ins, fire sprinkler mains continue at the Gym/Music Room/Cafetorium. Painting continues as well as acoustical ceiling grid. Millwork continues at both two story and one story classroom wings. Porcelain tile is being installed at the 1st and 2nd floor corridor of the two story classroom wing. Metal roof at Cafeteria is underway. Storm drainage at Courtyard should complete by March 19th.
c. 3-Week Look Ahead
Work items mentioned above will continue. Dirt work for concrete paving will continue. Denson should have permanent power by March 23rd.
d. Comments
Douglas is ahead of schedule, at this point, and under budget.
C. Austin Elementary School-New Construction
a. Work Completed
Building concrete work and structural steel are complete. The dome frame and metal deck are complete (metal roof is not installed). The finish roof sheet is approximately 60% complete. Drywall framing is complete. Sheetrock is approximately 95% complete. The dock at Kitchen is complete. Brick work is approximately 85% complete.
a. Work in Progress
Miscellaneous steel work at the main entry should complete by March 16th. Finish roof sheeting and flashing is in progress. The brick work continues on the east and south sides of the building. In addition, above ceiling rough-in for plumbing, electrical, ductwork for HVAC and fire protection continues at Administration area, “B” classrooms and Cafeteria and Gym. Tape and bed of sheetrock is underway and the 2nd floor classroom wing walls are painted. Ceiling grid at the 2nd floor is underway. Exterior windows are being installed.
Technology cable tray and wiring work is ahead of schedule.
b. 3-Week Look Ahead
The work items listed above will continue. Ceramic tile will commence March 26th. RPR should have permanent power by March 30th. HVAC roof top units will be set March 21st.
c. Comments
RPR is on schedule and on budget.
D. Bonner Elementary School-New School
a. Work Completed
Building concrete work is complete as well as the structural steel. All CMU work is complete. The roof is 100% dried in and the finish roof sheet is approximately 50% complete. Drywall framing and sheetrock is approximately 95% complete. Brickwork is approximately 80% complete.
b. Work in Progress
Miscellaneous steel work at roof mansard continues as well as the roof finish sheeting and flashing are underway. Brick work continues on the east and south sides of the building. In addition, above ceiling rough-in for plumbing, electrical, duct work for HVAC and fire protection continue. Sheetrock work continues. Replacement of damaged retaining wall should complete by April 6th. Technology cable tray and wiring are ahead of schedule.
c. 3-Week Look Ahead
Work items listed above will continue. Ceramic tile work should commence April 2nd. WRL should get permanent power by March 30th. HVAC roof top units will be set March 19th.

Bonner is on schedule and on budget.
E. Peete Elementary School-New School
a. Work Completed
Approximately 90% of the storm drainage is complete.
Approximately 35,000sf of slab on grade has been placed. The south retaining wall is complete. Storm drainage is 90% complete.
b. Work In Progress
Under slab rough-in work continues at the Kitchen/Cafeteria. North retaining wall should complete by March 14th. Concrete work at the Main Entry continues.
c. 3-Week Look Ahead
The items listed above will continue. Structural Steel erection will commence March 19th. Balance of slab on grade should pour March 14th. Water service for the project will be installed in Gaston Street beginning March 12th and completing by March 23rd. The sanitary sewer and water lines on site should commence March 19th and complete March 30th.
d. Comments
Peete has been delayed by rain for approximately two weeks. Denson will make up the time over the next forty five days. Peete is on budget.
