Board Update

·        A & E Consultants

A.     EHRC Architects are providing Construction Administration services throughout the project duration for Jack/Douglas.

B.     EHRC Architects have provided post-proposal assistance in evaluating Peete ES cost proposals.          

C.     Fitzpatrick Butler/PBK, Architects (FB/PBK) are providing Construction Administration services throughout the project duration for Austin/Bonner.

D.   It is anticipated that Bell and Ramey will be closed out in November. 

·        Construction Projects

A.                 Dr Bryan C Jack Elementary – New Construction

a.       Work Completed

All work is complete except the fence at the colonnade.

Punch list work continues

Work items listed above will continue.

d.      Comments

The project is scheduled to be complete by November 30^th.

Bryan C Jack is on schedule and under budget.

                        B.         Douglas Elementary School-New Construction

a.   Work Completed                                         

All structural steel erection is complete (exclude colonnade).

b.  Work in Progress

Miscellaneous steel erection continues on the 1 story wing and the gym/cafetorium.  Drywall framing on the exterior of the 1 story classroom wing continues and brick work is approximately 30% complete.  Interior drywall framing and sheetrock work is underway in the 1 and 2 story classroom wing.  HVAC ductwork, plumbing and electrical rough-in continues as well as the fire sprinkler piping and technology cable tray.  Ceramic tile at the toilets are in progress at south half of the 2 story wing, as well as tape, bed and texturing of the sheetrock walls.

c.       3-Week Look Ahead

Work items mentioned above will continue.

d.      Comments

Douglas is ahead of schedule, at this point, and under budget.

C.      Austin Elementary School-New Construction

a.       Work Completed 

All slab on grade work is complete. Retaining wall work is complete as well as the CMU work.  The 2^nd floor slab was placed on November 10^th.

b.      Work in Progress

Structural steel erection is approximately 80% complete.  The brick work has commenced at the Gym. Drywall framing commenced at the Cafetorium as well as rough-in of plumbing, electrical and fire protection.

c.       3-Week Look Ahead

The work items listed above will continue.

d.      Comments

RPR’s plan of getting back on schedule has been affective.  `

D.           Bonner Elementary School-New School

a.       Work Completed 

All slab on grade work is complete.  Retaining wall is complete. 

CMU work at the gym is complete.

b.      Work in Progress

Structural steel erection is approximately 60% complete.  HVAC ductwork, plumbing and electrical rough-in continues at Areas A, B and C.  Site utilities are 85% complete.  Drywall framing commenced at the 2 story wing.

c.       3-Week Look Ahead

Work items listed above will continue. 

d.      Comments

Bonner is approximately one week behind on structural steel and is working to make up the time.  The balance of the project is on schedule and under budget.
