The M.I.S. department is responsible for maintaining the
district's data
processing hardware and software and the information contained in those
systems. We also build the networking infrastructure, telephone systems
and Internet access for the district.
We strive to provide the highest quality services at the lowest
possible cost to the district and our community. We accomplish this by
maintaining a well trained, highly skilled staff, state of the art equipment and
by keeping a careful eye toward the future.
The M.I.S. department is also tasked with delivering
statistical data to the State of Texas via the Public Education Information
Management System (PEIMS).
Another branch of the M.I.S. department is the Electronic
Service Center. The ESC is staffed with computer technicians who install
and service the districts computers. They also repair the district's
audio/visual equipment.
