About the ESC


 

The Electronic Service Center (ESC) was first created to maintain and repair the district's audio-visual equipment. Over the years the purpose of the ESC has shifted from focus on AV equipment to focusing on Computer Equipment. The ESC currently maintains all the District's computer and AV equipment with the exception of the Stewart-Edison Project. The service center consist of 1 Service Manager, 5 Technicians.

The 5 full time technicians are responsible for maintaining the district’s computer equipment. The service manager is responsible for creating assignments for technicians and interns, assigning time estimates, closing work orders, and provides tech support for technicians and Tech. Trainers. Each technician is responsible for approximately 2000 pieces of computer equipment. Each technician has a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 campuses to service.
