KEEP STUDENTS IN SCHOOL CAMPAIGN
Improving School Attendance Promotes
Achievement and School Success

Tyler ISD is proud to partner with the Tyler Police Department and the City of Tyler in an effort to improve school attendance to promote achievement and school success. The campaign’s purpose is to promote public awareness and the reduction of truancy.

Call the numbers below anytime a school-aged student is seen off campus during school hours without adult supervision.  You will be asked for a description of the student(s) and their location.

The “Keep Students in School” Campaign will be delivered to the community via:

  • Posters at various businesses

  • Postcards mailed to targeted neighborhood areas

  • Postcards mailed to members of the Tyler Chamber of Commerce

  • Business cards distributed by Tyler and Tyler ISD police officers

  • PSA on TISD TV Channel 19

  • Electronic and print newsletters

  •  Campus and District websites
