The Free Application for Federal Student Aid for students entering college in the fall of 2017 is available NOW! Filling it out is the first step in accessing the largest source of federal, state and college financial aid. It is important for EVERY senior to fill out a FAFSA in order to take advantage of all need and merit based financial aid available. Get more information about the FAFSA here.
Any 9th grader who signed the TJC Promise Scholarship commitment will need to complete 5 hours of community service by April 30, 2017. Return the completed form to your campus counselor by the deadline. You may find more information by visiting the Promise website at https://www.tjc.edu/promise
Raise.me allows high school students to earn scholarships from colleges for their achievements in and out of the classroom. Starting in 9th grade, students can be eligible to start earning scholarships for their achievements like good grades, perfect attendance, leadership roles, participation in sports & clubs, community service, test scores, and more! Students can fill in their high school Portfolio retrospectively with achievements going back to the start of 9th grade, and they will be eligible to earn scholarships as if they had been using Raise.me since 9th grade!
