QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED; Accounting/Office management experience; some college preferred.
Supervisory capabilities - three years experience.
Knowledge of institutional food packaging and equipment and USDA commodity program, National School Lunch and Breakfast programs.
Ability to work and get along with people.
Aptitude for successfully performing duties of organization and inventory control.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Non-contractual (At-will); Clerical/Technical Paygrade 5 Estimated 226 days; estimated 8 hours daily; Wage/hour status: Nonexempt
1.
Oversees preparation of initial food and supply order from 25 cafeterias and administrative Snack Bar.
2.
Work with Food Service Director in obtaining food for cafeterias when vendor shortages necessitate substitutions.
3.
Work with Cafeteria Managers in scheduling holiday and special deliveries, school freezer and cooler shut-down, start-up schedules and order changes.
4.
Arrange for substitute deliverymen in case of absences so that there is an orderly flow of products.
5.
Training of new employees - Assigns and supervises employees in food, supplies and equipment receiving, distribution, and inventory handling and control.
6.
Accounts for warehouse food service timecard accuracy and payroll reporting.
7.
Inventory control of all food service warehouse items.
8.
Verification of product labels and purchase orders; process receiving reports and school cafeteria invoices.
9.
Prepare budget for food service warehouse.
10.
Complies with directions and instructions from Supervisor and performs other tasks and assumes such responsibilities as may be assigned.
11.
Maintains positive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the conduct of district business and demonstrates team work in daily activities.
12.
Is prompt, timely, and thorough in completing assignments and attending to details accurately and efficiently.
13.
Meets attendance standards and complies with notification procedures for absences.
14.
Provides complete and accurate information in the conduct of district business.
15.
Maintains confidentiality in the conduct of district business.
16.
Complies with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
17.
Adheres to the district’s safety policies and procedures.
